Pastoral Care
The Gospel of Jesus Christ commands us to love one another, and Ascension is a parish filled with loving and caring clergy and parishioners who offer care, support, and prayer for everyone in our parish family. One of our clergy is always available for pastoral care and prayer in times of illness, grief, loss, or any other adversity. Additionally, we have teams of parishioners who meet regularly under clergy supervision to address the joys and sorrows of fellow parishioners with appropriate confidentiality. We also have a group of parishioners who pray regularly for those who have requested their prayers. To find out more, please call the Parish Office at 303-388-5978.
If you have an urgent pastoral care concern, such as an illness or sudden death, please email Associate Rector Amy Feins or call 720-295-8606.
Rite of Reconciliation
A priest is available by appointment to hear confessions and to offer counsel and absolution through the rite of Reconciliation of a Penitent. All confessions are strictly confidential.
Prayer List
We offer prayers for those who have requested them in the Prayers of the People during our Sunday services of Holy Eucharist, in our written Sunday bulletin, and in our email newsletter. If you would like to include yourself or someone else on our prayer list, please email parish administrator Sarah Dougherty or call the parish office at 303-388-5978.
